Evanna Chiew, David Shifrin, and Yevgeny Yontov perform Words

Mezzo-soprano Evanna Chiew is joined by Chamber Music Northwest Artistic Director and clarinetist David Shifrin and pianist Yevgeny Yontov in a performance of Jeremy’s “Words” from 3 Songs About Words on poetry by Lucy Miller Murray. This is new version includes an obbligato clarinet part composed for this performance. Also on the program are songs by Richard Wilson, Michael Brown, Paul Moravec, and Jake Heggie, as well as new works by Chris Rogerson, Eugene Phillips, and Ian Clarke.
